CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) REQUIREMENTS FOR IDAHO


The Idaho Board of Medicine requires all licensees to earn 40 Category 1 CME Credits every two years. The requirement is detailed below:

  • 40 Credit hours every two-year renewal cycle: Each person licensed to practice medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine or surgery in Idaho is required to complete no less than 40 hours of practice-relevant Category 1 CME every two years.

The American College of Surgeons has compiled summaries of all State CME Requirements for your convenience.
